The album 'democracy now' was first released as a limited double-vinyl pressing on D1 Recordings in October 2009. An hour-long exploration of duplicity and delusion set against the backdrop of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, the album was built around samples culled from hundreds of hours of video and audio material, with musical and atmospheric accompaniment written by Naphta. Now in 2012, Naphta delivers the follow-up, a blistering critique of Russia's own War on Terror, which it has been waging against the Chechen people since 1994. democracy now part II is being released along with part I as a strictly limited edition double-CD.
